Frank Udinson is a partner with Newton, Udinson & Hill and focuses his practice primarily on Pennsylvania workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, and Veterans Benefits. In the Spring of 2013, Mr. Udinson was accredited by the VA as an attorney to assist with claims for VA benefits.
Prior to founding Newton, Udinson & Hill, Mr. Udinson practiced at one of Pennsylvania's preeminent workers' compensation law firms. Initially, after completing law school in 2010, Mr. Udinson worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, where he prosecuted criminal cases in Municipal Court. Over the years, Mr. Udinson has obtained over 1 million dollars in back due benefits for veterans and has assisted thousands of injured working in obtaining workers' compensation benefits.
Mr. Udinson obtained his law degree from the Widner University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude, and earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from DeSales University in 2007.
Shuaiyb Newton is a partner with Newton. Udinson & Hill and focuses his practice primarily on Pennsylvania workers’ compensation law. Most recently, Mr. Newton represented victims of crime in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as an Assistant United States Attorney. He focused on crimes against children and the community.
Prior to joining the Department of Justice, Mr. Newton was among the top homicide prosecutors in the state of Pennsylvania. He achieved an impeccable winning record of securing justice for the families of murder victims in Philadelphia. Now he is applying his experience battling in the criminal courts of Philadelphia to the fight for the working people of Pennsylvania. His legal career has revolved around protecting and fighting for victims and he brings that spirit to the fight for every right due to injured workers.
Mr. Newton obtained his law degree from the Widener University School of Law and earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management from Temple University in 2003.
Marisa Hill is a partner with Newton, Udinson & Hill and focuses her practice primarily on Pennsylvania workers' compensation law. Prior to joining Newton Udinson & Hill, Ms. Hill practiced workers’ compensation law with a regional defense firm for 9 years and reviewed contracts for one of the largest multinational pharmaceutical companies.
Ms. Hill graduated from Saint Joseph's University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Health Services and received her J.D. from Drexel University's Earle Mack School of Law with a concentration in Health Care Law. At Drexel, she served as the Co-President of the Health Law Society, was elected member of the Student Bar Association, and was a Marshall-Brennan Fellow.
Her charitable activities include the Jesuit Volunteer Corps with whom she spent a year within Milwaukee, WI working at a community clinic which served uninsured patients. She has shared her time working as a medical assistant and coordinator of the clinic's Patient Assistance Program, which provides free medication for patients who qualify financially. She has also taught constitutional law to Philadelphia public high school students.
